Slitti: who we are
Slitti was established in 1969 as coffee roasting company by Luciano Slitti, who was no longer satisfied with the coffee he was serving to his customers in his café, and who decusws to roast his own coffee. His great passion and determination led hime in the years to supply prestigious cafès, where his coffee could distinguish itself for its excellent quality.
When his sons Andrea and Daniele joined the company, they started immediately to learn the art of blending and roasting coffee. In 1988 Andrea decided to add another colonial product to their range: chocolate. The idea of coupling coffee and chocolate came out spontaneously. Andrea's interest was mostly concentrated on knowing everything about cocoa, whereas Daniele was unceasingly devoted to the research and development of hard to find coffee varieties.
The range of Slitti's products is imported and distributed in Australia by Slitti Australia, run by Marco and Antonella: their love for coffee and chocolate is second to Andrea's and Daniele's only!
